India and Russia have reaffirmed their time-tested strategic partnership by holding the 11th Session of the Working Group on Modernization and Industrial Cooperation.
Held at Vanijya Bhawan, New Delhi, the session marked a new chapter in bilateral collaboration focused on industrial development, modernization, and emerging technologies.

The meeting was co-chaired by Shri Amardeep Singh Bhatia, Secretary at DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and Mr. Alexey Gruzdev, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
Over 80 delegates from both nations participated, including senior government officials, domain experts, and key industry representatives.
This session reviewed progress since the 10th meeting and paved the way for future cooperation in vital sectors.

Both countries emphasized cooperation in the exploration and extraction of rare earth and critical minerals. This includes potential projects in underground coal gasification and industrial waste management.
