India Sends All-Party Delegations Worldwide to Reinforce United Stand Against Terrorism

RR Team, May 17, 2025May 17, 2025

In a significant diplomatic initiative aimed at reinforcing India’s unwavering stance against terrorism, seven All-Party Delegations will soon travel to key partner countries, including members of the United Nations Security Council. These visits come in the wake of Operation Sindoor and serve to underline India’s growing consensus across political lines on the urgent need to combat terrorism in all its forms.

The delegations will carry with them a clear and unified message — that India stands firmly committed to a policy of zero-tolerance against terrorism. At a time when the world is witnessing increasing threats to peace and security, India seeks to emphasize not only the severity of cross-border terrorism but also its impact on innocent lives and national stability. These engagements are expected to promote a deeper understanding among global partners of India’s experiences and its firm response in recent times.

What makes this initiative especially meaningful is its bipartisan spirit. Members of Parliament from across the political spectrum, along with seasoned diplomats and prominent leaders, are coming together to represent the collective voice of the nation. Leading the seven delegations are respected representatives from diverse political backgrounds: Shri Shashi Tharoor (INC), Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad (BJP), Shri Sanjay Kumar Jha (JDU), Shri Baijayant Panda (BJP), Smt. Kanimozhi Karunanidhi (DMK), Smt. Supriya Sule (NCP), and Shri Shrikant Eknath Shinde (Shiv Sena).

Their mission is not only to share India’s experiences but also to foster greater global cooperation in preventing terrorism and protecting civilian lives. As families continue to mourn the victims of recent terror attacks, this initiative sends a heartfelt and powerful message to the world — that India stands united, determined, and empathetic in its fight for peace and justice.
