Dr. Mandaviya Urges Youth for Nasha-Mukt Bharat
Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports and Labour & Employment, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, addressed the young leaders, congratulating them on being selected from nearly 50 lakh applicants nationwide. He encouraged participants to remain connected through the MY Bharat platform and district youth officers, emphasizing the need to drive initiatives like Nasha-Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat. Dr. Mandaviya highlighted discipline, commitment, and collective effort as crucial to achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.
He also urged participants to engage with parliamentary deliberations on the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram to enhance civic awareness and contribute meaningfully to national discourse.
ISRO Astronauts Inspire with Space Insights
The day featured an interactive session with ISRO astronaut-designates Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla and Group Captain Prasanth Nair, pilots selected for India’s Gaganyaan human spaceflight mission. Shukla shared his experience of microgravity and space exploration, stating, “The sky was never the limit—not for me, not for you, and not for Bharat.” He stressed resilience, learning from failures, and fearlessness as key traits for young leaders.
Group Captain Nair discussed India’s growing prominence in global space initiatives and emphasized lifelong learning, staying in “student mode,” and drawing inspiration from Indian values and the Bhagavad Gita. Both sessions provided young leaders a rare chance to engage with national space pioneers and gain insights into professionalism, perseverance, and vision for the future.
Union Ministers and MPs Provide Mentorship
Later, young leaders regrouped as state teams to visit the residences of Union Ministers and Members of Parliament. Informal mentorship dinners allowed meaningful interaction, guidance, and discussions on youth-led nation-building, reinforcing the dialogue’s focus on shaping proactive, responsible leaders.
Colours of Viksit Bharat: Celebrating Diversity
The day also showcased Colours of Viksit Bharat, a vibrant cultural program featuring music, dance, and poetry performances by youth from across India. Union Minister Dr. Mandaviya and Union Minister of State Smt. Raksha Nikhil Khadse felicitated outstanding performers, encouraging excellence and creativity alongside leadership development.
Final Day to Feature PM Interaction
The four-day dialogue will culminate on National Youth Day, coinciding with Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressing the young leaders. A grand plenary session, including a Town Hall-style discussion, will allow delegates to present ten high-impact ideas aligned with national priorities, reinforcing the critical role of youth in India’s journey toward Viksit Bharat@2047.
