Jayant Chaudhary Launches SIDH Skilling Campaign

New Delhi: In a significant push to accelerate India’s digital skilling movement, Union Minister Shri Jayant Chaudhary has launched a nationwide awareness campaign titled “Badhna Hai Toh Yahan Judna Hai,” aimed at expanding the reach of the Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH).
The campaign was unveiled on the sidelines of the India AI Impact Summit 2026. As Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Minister of State for Education, Shri Chaudhary underscored the importance of digital public infrastructure in building a future-ready workforce.

To strengthen outreach, the initiative has brought on board legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, whose nationwide appeal is expected to amplify awareness and drive participation in SIDH.

Expanding India’s Digital Skilling Ecosystem

The Skill India Digital Hub has already registered over 1.5 crore candidates, emerging as one of the country’s largest unified digital platforms for skilling, employment, and lifelong learning. The new campaign aims to scale this number further by encouraging citizens across demographics to join the ecosystem.

Speaking at the launch, Shri Chaudhary said India’s digital strength has gained global recognition through transformative initiatives such as India Stack. He described SIDH as a continuation of that journey, enabling skill development at an unprecedented scale.

“Through this campaign, we are inviting every Indian to connect with the ecosystem and take the next step in their growth journey,” he said.

AI-Enabled, Mobile-First Platform

Designed as a mobile-first, AI-enabled platform, SIDH integrates multiple government skilling schemes under one digital roof. It offers industry-aligned courses and personalized recommendations based on users’ career interests and aspirations.

The platform features a Learning Management System-enabled central hub, Aadhaar-based eKYC registration, OTP-based mobile access, digitally verified credentials, and QR-code-enabled personalized digital CVs. Importantly, SIDH is available in more than 21 Indian languages, ensuring accessibility and inclusion.

Bridging Gaps in Access and Opportunity

SIDH caters to a broad spectrum of users — students exploring career options, graduates entering the job market, working professionals seeking to upskill, and aspiring entrepreneurs looking for structured support.

By consolidating fragmented skilling and employment resources into a single platform, SIDH removes barriers related to information gaps, language diversity and credential verification. The government believes this unified approach will democratize opportunity at scale.

Campaign Rollout and Vision

The “Badhna Hai Toh Yahan Judna Hai” campaign will roll out across digital platforms, social media channels, app ecosystems and QR-enabled touchpoints to facilitate seamless and instant registration.

Campaign visuals showcase India’s diversity — youth, women, professionals, entrepreneurs and differently-abled citizens — reinforcing the message that growth and opportunity are for everyone.

Anchored in the vision of lifelong learning for prosperity, the initiative aligns with the broader goal of Viksit Bharat. As artificial intelligence and automation reshape industries, the government views SIDH as a central engine to help citizens reskill and future-proof their careers.

With this campaign, the Ministry aims to position India not only as a global talent pool but also as a global skill capital powered by digital innovation.
