Incident Sparks Public Outrage
According to the police complaint, the accused not only raped the victim but also beat her with a hockey stick and recorded the act to threaten her with blackmail.
Three Arrested, Phones Sent for Forensics
The three arrested are Manojit Mishra (a staff member), 19-year-old student Zaib Ahmed, and 20-year-old student Pramit Mukherjee. All were remanded to four-day police custody after court proceedings.

Victim’s Statement: Assault, Threats, and Panic
The student stated, “They hit me with a hockey stick, locked the college gate, and filmed everything. When I begged them to stop, I was told the video would be released online if I told anyone.” She added that she touched their feet, cried, and pleaded, but they refused to let her go.
She was finally able to inform her parents, who immediately approached the police.
