High-Profile Participation
The inaugural session will see the participation of several distinguished leaders. Governor of Andhra Pradesh S. Abdul Nazeer, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha Harivansh, Chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee on Empowerment of Women D. Purandeswari, Speaker of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly C. Ayyannapatrudu, and Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council Koyye Moshenu Raju are scheduled to address the gathering. Senior ministers from Andhra Pradesh, along with members of state assemblies and councils, will also be present.
On the occasion, Speaker Om Birla will also inaugurate an exhibition and release a souvenir marking the significance of the event.
Focus on Emerging Technologies
The central theme of the conference highlights the opportunities and challenges posed by new technologies. Discussions will cover Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Blockchain, Robotics, Quantum Computing, Biotechnology, and Cybersecurity. Experts and lawmakers will examine how these technologies impact women and the measures required to ensure gender-inclusive progress.
A key aspect of the deliberations will be bridging the gender digital divide and encouraging greater participation of women in STEM fields. Ensuring digital safety, boosting women’s entrepreneurship, and fostering innovation will be top priorities in discussions.
Agenda for Women-Led Development
The conference agenda aligns with the government’s vision of “Women Led Development for Viksit Bharat.” Two sub-themes — Gender Responsive Budgeting and Empowering Women to Face Challenges of Emerging Technologies — will also be discussed in detail.
Participants will focus on how economic planning and budget allocations can address the specific needs of women, as well as strategies for increasing representation in high-tech sectors. The conference will emphasize ensuring that women are equipped to lead in the fast-changing digital economy as India aims to achieve the vision of a Developed Bharat by 2047.
Valedictory Session
The two-day event will conclude on September 15, 2025, with a valedictory session. It will be addressed by Governor Abdul Nazeer, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha Harivansh, Committee Chairperson D. Purandeswari, and Andhra Pradesh Speaker C. Ayyannapatrudu. The Deputy Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly will deliver the Vote of Thanks.

This is the first such conference dedicated to Committees on Empowerment of Women, making it a landmark moment in shaping policy direction. By focusing on equipping women to navigate the digital age, the Tirupati conference underscores a national commitment to strengthening women’s voices in governance, technology, and innovation.
