Celebrating Yoga for Health and Harmony
In the spirit of International Yoga Day 2025, the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs organized a rejuvenating Yoga Workshop on 11 June 2025. The session took place in Committee Room 62, Samvidhan Sadan, New Delhi, fostering awareness about the importance of yoga in today’s fast-paced professional lives.
The workshop was conducted under the expert guidance of Dr. Ramesh Kumar, Professor, Department of Yoga Science, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, Delhi. It aimed to blend mental wellness and physical health into the busy schedules of government officials.

As stress-related issues rise, yoga offers a cost-effective and efficient tool to restore balance. The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs is now among the key administrative bodies promoting this ancient wellness science at the grassroots of policymaking.
