MNRE Launches Green Hydrogen Logo Contest with ₹1 Lakh Prize

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has launched a nationwide logo design contest for the National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM), offering a cash prize of ₹1 Lakh to the winner. The initiative invites citizens of all ages to showcase India’s ambition to become a global hub for green hydrogen production, usage, and export.

About the Green Hydrogen Mission

NGHM is aimed at creating a comprehensive action plan to establish a Green Hydrogen ecosystem in India. The mission focuses on de-carbonising the economy, reducing fossil fuel dependency, and positioning India as a technology and market leader in the green hydrogen sector.

Contest Details and Submission Guidelines

Participants are required to design a logo that reflects India’s aspiration for self-reliance, investment potential, and green hydrogen usage across multiple sectors including steel, transport, fertilizers, shipping, and petrochemicals. Submissions must be in JPEG, PNG, or PDF formats with a high resolution of at least 300 DPI, sized 15cm X 20cm.

The internal MNRE committee will judge entries based on creativity, originality, composition, technical excellence, simplicity, artistic merit, visual impact, and relevance to the mission.

Prizes and Recognition

The winning entry will receive ₹1,00,000 along with a certificate from the Mission Director of NGHM. The winner will also be reimbursed for round-trip domestic economy airfare to New Delhi. Ten runners-up will each receive ₹5,000.

Deadline and Registration

The last date for submitting entries is 5th November 2025. Interested participants can register and submit their designs directly at MyGov Portal.

MNRE’s initiative reflects India’s inclusive approach to its green energy mission. By inviting creative input from citizens nationwide, the Ministry hopes to generate innovative ideas that embody the vision of a sustainable, self-reliant green hydrogen ecosystem.
