Civil Services Democratized, Youth Aspirations Realized
From Margins to Mainstream
Dr. Singh cited inspiring examples like ParsanJit Kour from Poonch, who secured AIR 11 in her first attempt in 2022, and Anmol Sher Singh Bedi from Punjab, who secured AIR 2 in 2016. These cases show how India’s civil service has become truly inclusive.
“This is real democracy—when even a mother from a humble background believes her child can reach the top,” he said.
Milestones of Inclusive Governance
Dr. Singh emphasized that PM Modi’s decade of leadership has seen transformational development across sectors. Regions like the North-East and J&K are now connected through modern railway networks. “Trains now run through valleys that were once considered inaccessible,” he stated.
Start-Up India to Biotech Boom
He praised Start-Up India and Stand-Up India for redefining job aspirations. The biotech sector grew from just 50 startups in 2014 to over 10,000 startups in 2024, with its valuation skyrocketing to $170 billion.
Leadership in Space & Science
India’s first astronaut under Axiom Space, Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, will conduct advanced experiments using Indian biotech kits. The country also plans to launch its own space station by 2035.
Governance Reforms that Touch Lives
CPGRAMS handled over 26 lakh grievances in 2024 with a 96% disposal rate. Digital Life Certificates for pensioners now use facial recognition, eliminating the need for elderly visits to banks. Reforms now also allow widowed and divorced daughters to receive pensions, reflecting compassionate governance.
Zero Tolerance for Corruption
Dr. Singh highlighted that not a single Union Minister has faced corruption charges in 11 years. Universal schemes like PM Awas Yojana have reached every section, breaking the vote bank narrative.
New Era in Jammu & Kashmir
He noted the revival of tourism in J&K and emphasized the importance of Lithium reserves as an economic booster. “The youth in J&K are aspirational and don’t want to miss the development bus,” he said.
Vision 2047: Citizens First
“The real force behind Viksit Bharat 2047 will be its people,” Dr. Singh concluded. “Their aspirations, energy, and ideas will shape the next 25 years of India’s journey.”
