DGLW’s Support for Unorganised Workers
The Directorate General of Labour Welfare (DGLW) has extended a lifeline to over 50 lakh unorganised workers, especially from the Beedi, mining, and cine sectors, through:
Educational scholarships for workers’ children
Healthcare assistance and maternity benefits
Housing and group insurance support
Awareness campaigns and welfare outreach programs
