The Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), Government of India, has recently issued an open call inviting Expressions of Interest (EoI) from entrepreneurs interested in setting up Agro Processing Clusters under the Scheme for Creation of Infrastructure for Agro Processing Industries (APC), a key component of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY). This initiative aims to boost the agro-processing sector by developing dedicated clusters that can add value to agricultural produce, create jobs, and improve farmers’ incomes.

The EoI was announced on May 14, 2025, and invites applications from prospective stakeholders who wish to contribute to this transformative effort. The deadline for submitting applications is July 14, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Interested parties can find detailed guidelines issued on April 25, 2025, along with other relevant information on the official MoFPI website.
To facilitate a smooth application process, MoFPI has provided an online portal (https://www.sampada-mofpi.gov.in/) where applications can be submitted until the closing time on July 14. This opportunity offers entrepreneurs a chance to play a meaningful role in strengthening India’s agro-processing infrastructure, which is vital for enhancing farmers’ livelihoods and promoting sustainable rural development.
