The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), functioning under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, is a leading institution in hospitality and hotel management education. Currently, 95 Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs) affiliated with NCHMCT offer various programs, including postgraduate degrees, undergraduate degrees, postgraduate diplomas, diplomas, and craft courses. These institutes are spread across major cities in India.
For admission to the flagship 3-year B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration (HHA) program at its affiliated IHMs, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Joint Entrance Examination, known as NCHMJEE 2025, on behalf of NCHMCT. Aspirants can register for the exam via NTA’s online portal at https://exams.nta.ac.in/NCHM/ or through the Council’s website at www.nchm.gov.in. The last date to submit applications is 15 February 2025, and the examination is scheduled for 27 April 2025.
Based on merit and choice, candidates who qualify for NCHMJEE 2025 will be allotted IHMs. Further, they need to register for online counseling conducted by NIC, with the schedule to be announced later.
The 3-year B.Sc. HHA program is offered in collaboration with Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. Degrees are conferred by JNU upon successful completion of the course.
