Commanders could then prioritize activities and target threats with greater precision.
Specialized Applications
Each application had a specific function and was accessible to officers on a need-to-know basis. The Application for Electronic Intelligence Collation helped locate enemy sensors quickly, while AI-powered Meteorological Reporting Systems provided extended-range weather data to improve strike accuracy. The Trinetra System, integrated with Project Sanjay, created a unified operational and intelligence picture at tactical and operational levels, improving decision-making and situational awareness.
Comprehensive AI Approach
Lt Gen Sahni emphasized that these developments align with the India AI Mission. While acknowledging global AI capabilities, he stressed that the Indian Army is fully prepared and continuously developing robust, indigenous AI technologies to maintain national security.

Using AI-driven applications, the military efficiently monitored multiple sites and executed precision strikes on terror installations.
