PM Modi Condoles Sambhal Mishap, Announces Ex-Gratia Aid

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep sorrow over a tragic road accident in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. In a heartfelt message posted via the PMO India’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle, he offered condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and wished the injured a speedy recovery.


PM Announces Ex-Gratia Relief for Victims

In a compassionate move, PM Modi announced financial assistance through the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF). He stated:

  • Each family who lost a loved one will receive ₹2 lakh.
  • Every injured person will receive ₹50,000.

This swift decision shows the Centre’s commitment to supporting citizens in times of distress.
