As a gesture of support and solidarity, the Prime Minister announced an ex-gratia compensation of ₹2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for the families of those who lost their lives. Additionally, ₹50,000 will be provided to each of the injured.
