New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday extended warm greetings to the people of Himachal Pradesh on the occasion of the state’s Statehood Day, lauding its unique blend of natural beauty, cultural richness, and the valour of its people.
In a message shared on social media platform X, the Prime Minister described Himachal Pradesh as a sacred land where nature and culture exist in perfect harmony. He praised the people of the hill state for their remarkable talent, courage, and enduring commitment to serving the nation.

Prime Minister Modi emphasized that the people of Himachal Pradesh have consistently displayed exceptional bravery and dedication. Himachal Pradesh attained full statehood on January 25, 1971, becoming the 18th state of the Indian Union. Since then, Statehood Day has been celebrated annually to commemorate the state’s journey, achievements, and contributions to the nation.
