PM Modi Highlights Landmark Reforms Powering India’s Growth

RR Team, December 30, 2025December 30, 2025
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on Monday highlighted the transformative reforms undertaken during 2025, stating that India has firmly “boarded the Reform Express” and is moving with renewed momentum on the path of accelerated growth and development. Sharing his thoughts through a LinkedIn post, the Prime Minister said the reforms have strengthened India’s foundations and boosted confidence in the country’s long-term economic trajectory.
The Prime Minister’s remarks came at a time when India continues to consolidate its position as one of the world’s fastest-growing major economies.

‘India Has Boarded the Reform Express’

In his LinkedIn message, Prime Minister Modi described 2025 as a year of pathbreaking reforms across multiple sectors. He said these initiatives have added fresh momentum to India’s growth journey and enhanced the country’s efforts to build a Viksit Bharat.

The Prime Minister underlined that reforms are not isolated policy changes but part of a continuous process aimed at modernising governance, strengthening institutions and improving ease of living for citizens.

Reforms as the Engine of Economic Growth

According to the Prime Minister, the reform measures undertaken in 2025 have focused on improving productivity, boosting investment and enhancing competitiveness across sectors. He noted that sustained reforms are essential to unlock India’s demographic dividend and entrepreneurial potential.

By simplifying processes and promoting transparency, the government aims to create an ecosystem that encourages innovation and long-term growth.

Link to Viksit Bharat Vision

Prime Minister Modi reiterated that the reform agenda is closely aligned with the national vision of Viksit Bharat. He said a developed India cannot be achieved without bold decisions and timely reforms that respond to changing global and domestic realities.

The reforms of 2025, he observed, have laid the groundwork for inclusive development that balances economic expansion with social welfare.

Building Confidence Among Citizens and Investors

The Prime Minister’s message also reflected growing confidence among citizens, businesses and global investors in India’s reform-driven growth model. He said consistent policy direction and reform continuity have helped build trust in India’s economic governance.

Experts believe that such confidence plays a critical role in attracting investment, expanding manufacturing and strengthening India’s role in global supply chains.

Reforms Beyond Economics

While economic growth remains a central objective, Prime Minister Modi emphasised that reforms also aim to improve governance, service delivery and quality of life. Digital transformation, institutional strengthening and citizen-centric initiatives form an integral part of this reform journey.

He said that meaningful reforms ultimately translate into better opportunities for youth, improved livelihoods and a stronger nation.

Looking Ahead

The Prime Minister’s reflections underscore the government’s commitment to maintaining reform momentum in the years ahead. As India moves towards 2047, reforms will continue to serve as the driving force behind economic resilience and inclusive progress.
