PM Modi Interacts with Students in Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday shared glimpses from his interactions with students across multiple states during the second episode of the ninth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2026. The initiative, aimed at easing exam stress and encouraging holistic learning, featured informal discussions with students from Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat and Assam.
Welcoming students to the special edition of the programme, the Prime Minister highlighted that Pariksha Pe Charcha this year was conducted across different parts of the country, reflecting India’s diversity while addressing common academic and emotional challenges faced by students.

Coimbatore: Startups, AI and Dreams of a Viksit Bharat

Sharing his experience from Coimbatore, Prime Minister Modi described the interaction with students as “phenomenal”. The discussion extended beyond examinations, touching upon startups, artificial intelligence, self-discipline and the larger vision of building a developed India.

The Prime Minister noted that students displayed remarkable clarity and curiosity, reflecting a generation that is confident about innovation while remaining focused on personal growth and national development.

Chhattisgarh: Balancing Studies, Sports and Responsibility

In Chhattisgarh, the interaction revealed a thoughtful and socially aware generation. Students raised questions on managing academics alongside sports, environmental responsibility and the importance of leadership qualities.

The Prime Minister observed that the nature of questions reflected maturity and a balanced outlook, indicating that students are increasingly conscious of both personal success and collective responsibility.

Gujarat: Managing Pressure and Celebrating Culture

The Gujarat episode of Pariksha Pe Charcha went beyond exam preparation, focusing on managing pressure in critical situations and recognising the role of teachers in shaping young minds.

Students also showcased traditional art forms such as Warli, Pithora and Lippan art, underlining the programme’s emphasis on cultural roots alongside academic excellence.

Assam: Stress Management and Staying Rooted

Interactions with students in Assam revolved around managing stress, dealing with comparisons and building self-confidence. Discussions also covered the importance of maintaining healthy routines during exam preparation.

The Prime Minister highlighted that students expressed a desire to excel academically while staying connected to their culture and traditions, reflecting balanced aspirations.

Launched to create a positive and stress-free examination environment, Pariksha Pe Charcha has evolved into a nationwide movement. By engaging directly with students, teachers and parents, the programme encourages dialogue, emotional well-being and confidence-building.
