PM Modi Invites Ideas for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026

RR Team, January 7, 2026January 7, 2026
With the Class X and XII board examinations approaching, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has once again reached out to students, parents and teachers across the country, inviting them to actively participate in this year’s Pariksha Pe Charcha. The annual interactive programme has become a key national platform for discussing exam-related stress, preparation strategies and the broader purpose of education.
The Prime Minister called upon the nation’s young learners, fondly referred to as #ExamWarriors, to share their questions, ideas and personal experiences that could motivate and inspire fellow students.

Annual Interaction Ahead of Board Exams

Pariksha Pe Charcha is held every year ahead of the board examinations and features a direct interaction between the Prime Minister and students from across India and abroad. The programme aims to transform the perception of exams from a source of anxiety into an opportunity for learning and self-growth.

Over the years, the initiative has evolved into a broader conversation that includes parents and teachers, recognising their crucial role in shaping a healthy and supportive learning environment.

PM Modi’s Message to Exam Warriors

In a post shared on social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi expressed his eagerness to engage with students and other stakeholders on various aspects of examinations. He highlighted the importance of staying calm, confident and positive while preparing for exams.

The Prime Minister said he looks forward to hearing not only questions but also experiences and insights from students that could encourage and motivate others facing similar challenges.

Focus on Mental Well-Being and Confidence

A key theme of Pariksha Pe Charcha has consistently been mental well-being and stress management. The Prime Minister has often emphasised that examinations are just one part of a student’s journey and should not define their entire future.

By encouraging open dialogue, the programme seeks to reduce fear around exams and promote a balanced approach to studies, personal interests and emotional health.

Participation Through MyGov Platform

Students, parents and teachers can submit their ideas, questions and suggestions through the MyGov platform. The initiative allows participants from diverse backgrounds to contribute to the conversation, making the programme inclusive and representative.

The interactive format ensures that real concerns from classrooms and homes find a place in the national discussion on education.

Parents and Teachers as Key Stakeholders

Recognising that exam pressure is not limited to students alone, Pariksha Pe Charcha also invites parents and teachers to share their perspectives. Their participation helps address expectations, communication gaps and the importance of emotional support.

The Prime Minister has repeatedly stressed that a supportive ecosystem at home and school is essential for nurturing confident and resilient students.

Building a Positive Exam Culture

Since its inception, Pariksha Pe Charcha has played a significant role in reshaping India’s exam culture. By normalising discussions around stress and failure, it encourages students to view challenges as opportunities for growth.

Educational experts believe that such initiatives contribute to long-term changes in how academic success and personal development are perceived.

Looking Ahead to Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026

As anticipation builds for this year’s edition, students across the country are preparing not only for their exams but also to engage in a meaningful national conversation. The programme continues to reflect the government’s focus on student-centric education and mental well-being.
