PM Modi Pays Tribute to Deendayal Upadhyaya

RR Team, February 11, 2026February 11, 2026
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday paid homage to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya on his death anniversary, remembering him as a devoted patriot whose value-based principles continue to inspire generations of Indians.
In a message shared on social media platform X, the Prime Minister described Upadhyaya as a true worshipper of the motherland and a guiding force in India’s ideological and social journey.

Prime Minister’s Message

Paying his respects in Hindi, Shri Modi stated: “मातृभूमि के अनन्य उपासक पंडित दीनदयाल उपाध्याय जी को उनकी पुण्यतिथि पर सादर नमन। मूल्यों पर आधारित उनके सिद्धांत और विचार देश की हर पीढ़ी के लिए पथ-प्रदर्शक बने रहेंगे।”

The Prime Minister emphasized that Upadhyaya’s principles, rooted firmly in Indian values and cultural ethos, will continue to serve as a guiding light for every generation of the country.

Legacy of Integral Humanism

Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya is best known for articulating the philosophy of Integral Humanism, which envisions holistic development grounded in India’s civilizational wisdom. His ideas advocate a balance between economic growth and social harmony.

Integral Humanism stresses that development must uplift the poorest and most marginalized sections of society while preserving ethical public life and cultural identity.

Influence on Contemporary India

Over the decades, Upadhyaya’s thoughts have significantly influenced India’s political and developmental discourse. His emphasis on self-reliance, rural empowerment, and moral governance continues to resonate in national policy frameworks.

The Prime Minister’s tribute reflects the enduring relevance of these ideas as India progresses toward becoming a developed nation. Observing his death anniversary serves as a reminder of the importance of principled leadership and service to society.

Nation Remembers a Visionary

Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya remains one of India’s prominent political thinkers and social reformers. His writings and speeches continue to inspire leaders, scholars, and citizens alike.

As tributes pour in across the country, the day stands as an occasion to reaffirm commitment to values-driven development and national service, ideals that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya championed throughout his life.
