PM Modi to Inaugurate Emerging Science Conclave 2025
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Emerging Science & Technology Innovation Conclave (ESTIC) 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, at 9:30 AM on November 3. The high-profile event aims to strengthen India’s research and innovation ecosystem through industry-academia collaboration.
₹1 Lakh Crore Research Development and Innovation Scheme
In a major step to boost India’s research landscape, the Prime Minister will launch the ₹1 Lakh Crore Research Development and Innovation (RDI) Scheme. This initiative seeks to create a private sector–led R&D environment, encouraging industries to invest in advanced research and product innovation across sectors.
The RDI scheme is expected to empower start-ups, scientific institutions, and private industries to work together in developing frontier technologies aligned with India’s Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.

Global Platform for Science and Innovation

The three-day conclave, scheduled from 3rd to 5th November 2025, will bring together over 3,000 participants from academia, research institutions, industry, and government. It will feature Nobel Laureates, eminent scientists, and global innovators, making it one of India’s most significant scientific gatherings of the year.
ESTIC 2025 will provide a collaborative platform to promote dialogue and partnerships that strengthen the innovation ecosystem. Sessions will include keynote addresses, panel discussions, and technology showcases focused on futuristic solutions.
