Addressing the gathering, President Murmu described Mahaprabhu Jagannath as the Lord of the universe whose blessings transcend all boundaries. She praised the Kolhan region for exemplifying the harmonious coexistence of tribal traditions with broader spiritual practices of India. “The people of this region have preserved centuries-old customs, living together in unity and mutual respect. This social harmony is central to devotion to Mahaprabhu Jagannath,” she said.

The President also expressed concern over global conflicts, noting the growing resonance of Indian spiritual traditions worldwide. She observed that increasing devotion to Mahaprabhu Jagannath reinforces the belief that universal well-being can be safeguarded through spirituality and compassion.
Highlighting key aspects of Indian spiritual ethos, President Murmu emphasized love, compassion, and charity toward all living beings. She lauded the Trust’s efforts in providing education to children from economically weaker sections and advised prioritizing the creation of hostel facilities to ensure inclusive access.

President Murmu also noted that the Trust is arranging a residential program for studying the Srimad-Bhagavad-Gita. She stated that this initiative will significantly contribute to the spiritual awakening, character development, and holistic growth of younger generations, fostering leadership rooted in ethics and values.
