PM Modi’s Personal Tribute

During his visit, the Prime Minister sat with the family in silence, expressing the nation’s collective sorrow. His gesture resonated deeply, not only with the bereaved but with every Indian who mourns the tragic loss.

PM Modi later posted on X (formerly Twitter) in Hindi:

“पहलगाम के कायराना आतंकी हमले में जान गंवाने वाले हमारे कानपुर के बेटे शुभम द्विवेदी के परिजनों से आज मुलाकात हुई। उन्होंने आतंक के खिलाफ ऑपरेशन सिंदूर के लिए हमारी पराक्रमी सेना का आभार जताया। उनका ये जज्बा देशवासियों को प्रेरित करने वाला है।”

He lauded the family’s strength and acknowledged their gratitude toward the Indian Army’s counter-terrorist operation, Operation Sindoor.

A Family’s Courage in the Face of Loss

Despite the grief, Shubham’s family exhibited immense composure and patriotism. Their support for the Army’s efforts reflects the strength and resilience found in homes across India. Their spirit, as PM Modi noted, is “inspiring to all Indians.”

Remembering Shubham Dwivedi

Shubham Dwivedi, in his early twenties, made the ultimate sacrifice for his country. He was targeted in a cowardly ambush in Pahalgam. Yet, he stood firm in the line of duty.

His name now joins the proud list of bravehearts who laid down their lives so that others may live in peace. His sacrifice is not in vain—it fuels the nation’s resolve to eliminate terrorism and defend our borders with greater strength.

Operation Sindoor: India’s Bold Response

Following the Pahalgam attack, Operation Sindoor was launched by the Indian Army. The mission aimed to neutralize the terrorists responsible for the assault. The family of Shubham thanked the Army for its swift and decisive action, reinforcing public faith in national security forces.

India Stands United in Sorrow and Strength

Across India, people have expressed solidarity with Shubham’s family. Candle marches, social media tributes, and public prayers highlight the nation’s mourning. More importantly, they underscore a shared promise—to remember, to honor, and to never forget.

Final Salute

As the bugles fade and flags lower in tribute, Shubham Dwivedi’s name will be etched forever in the heart of Bharat Mata. His sacrifice stands as a symbol of courage, duty, and undying love for the nation.

We bow to the family who raised such a son.
