Prime Minister Modi Participates in Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025

On National Youth Day, commemorating Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi participated in the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The event brought together 3,000 dynamic young leaders from across India to discuss the vision of a developed India by 2047.

PM’s Key Messages

  • Youth as Catalysts for Change: PM Modi highlighted India’s youth, or Yuva Shakti, as the driving force behind the nation’s transformation. He emphasized the unparalleled energy, creativity, and potential of young Indians to shape a prosperous future.
  • Trust and Vision: Drawing inspiration from Swami Vivekananda’s faith in the youth, the Prime Minister expressed his unwavering trust in their ability to overcome challenges and achieve ambitious national goals.
  • Achieving Goals Early: He noted India’s consistent success in achieving ambitious objectives ahead of schedule, citing milestones in sectors like sanitation, vaccination, green energy, and digital infrastructure as examples of India’s determination.
  • Collective Responsibility: PM Modi urged all citizens to actively participate in the mission of a developed India, emphasizing that progress requires a shared commitment beyond government initiatives.

  • Essay Compilation Launch: The Prime Minister released a collection of the best essays written by participants, showcasing innovative ideas on ten thematic areas critical to India’s development.
  • Policy Integration: Ideas from the dialogue will inform national policies, reflecting the government’s commitment to incorporating youth-driven solutions.
  • Strengthening Education: Highlighting rapid growth in India’s educational infrastructure, PM Modi shared milestones such as increased IITs, IIMs, AIIMS, and ITIs, along with a surge in globally ranked institutions.

Background of the Viksit Bharat Dialogue

The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue reimagines the National Youth Festival by offering a platform for young Indians to contribute to the nation’s vision. Selected through a rigorous process involving quizzes, essays, and competitions, the participants represent India’s brightest minds from diverse backgrounds.

Concluding the event, the Prime Minister encouraged the youth to take their ideas to every corner of the country, fostering a collective effort to achieve the goal of a developed India by 2047. He reiterated his faith in the Yuva Shakti and extended his heartfelt congratulations to all participants on National Youth Day.

The event was attended by Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Minister for Education Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, and other dignitaries.
