Raksha Rajya Mantri (RRM) Shri Sanjay Seth visited the NCC Republic Day Camp 2025 at Delhi Cantt on January 18, 2025. During the visit, he praised the National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets, calling them the “Ambassadors of Viksit Bharat @2047,” and expressed admiration for the NCC’s ambitious plan to enroll 20 lakh cadets. Shri Seth also commended the cadets’ zeal to join the Armed Forces and their commitment to serving the nation with dedication and selflessness.
In his address, Shri Sanjay Seth congratulated the cadets for embodying the spirit of a “mini-India” through their vibrant cultural performances. He encouraged them to continue striving for the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047, citing the famous quote by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, “क़दम मिलाकर चलना होगा” (We must march in step together), to inspire unity, discipline, and perseverance.

- Guard of Honour: Shri Seth reviewed a ceremonial Guard of Honour presented by cadets from all three wings of the NCC – Army, Navy, and Air Force.
- Band Performance: The cadets from Scindia School, Gwalior, showcased an impressive band performance.
- Flag Area: The Minister inspected thematic displays created by cadets from 17 NCC Directorates, which focused on various social awareness themes.
- Hall of Fame: He visited the Hall of Fame, where he was briefed on NCC’s history, training programs, and achievements.
- Innovation Exhibition: Shri Seth explored an exhibition titled “Idea and Innovation,” featuring inventive projects by cadets that reflected creativity and technical expertise.
- Cultural Program: The visit concluded with a captivating cultural program at Pratap Hall, showcasing the cadets’ talents and diverse heritage.
Shri Sanjay Seth’s visit highlighted the importance of the NCC in nurturing future leaders and fostering a sense of discipline, patriotism, and unity among the youth of India. He reiterated the government’s support for the NCC’s initiatives, emphasizing its critical role in achieving the vision of a developed India by 2047.
