Run with the Navy: Indian Navy Half Marathon 2026 Delhi

The Indian Navy is all set to host the second edition of the Indian Navy Half Marathon (INHM) on 01 February 2026 in New Delhi, under the tagline ‘Run with the Navy’. The event is expected to attract around 14,000 runners across three categories: 21.1 km, 10 km, and 5 km, making it inclusive for participants of all ages and skill levels.
The marathon will be flagged off by the Hon’ble Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Shri Mansukh L Mandaviya, at the iconic Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The route will pass by India Gate and the historic Kartavya Path, offering runners a scenic and memorable experience through Delhi’s landmarks.

Inclusive Participation and International Representation

A special run and walk event has been organized for veterans and senior citizens, ensuring inclusivity. The event has also attracted international runners, with 88 participants from 24 countries registered to compete.

Supported by IDFC First Bank and facilitated by Delhi Police and the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), the marathon promises a safe and well-coordinated experience. With AIMS & AFI certification, the INHM stands out as a world-class running event.

Participant Experience and Amenities

Every participant will receive a finisher’s medal, premium running t-shirt, RFID timing bib, curated goodie bag, post-race refreshments, and complimentary race day photographs. Hydration stations and medical support will be available throughout the route to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

The Indian Navy emphasizes that the marathon is more than a race it is a celebration of fitness, discipline, and national pride. Participants will run alongside Naval sailors and officers, strengthening camaraderie and promoting a healthy lifestyle among civilians and defense personnel alike.
