Shastri Bhawan Cleanliness Drive Boosts Swachh Bharat Mission

New Delhi, 19 October 2025 – In a move reinforcing the principles of the Swachh Bharat Mission, the Legislative Department of the Ministry of Law and Justice organized a cleanliness drive outside the Shastri Bhawan premises today. Conducted under Special Campaign 5.0, the initiative highlighted the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment within public spaces.
The drive was led by Shri R.K. Pattanayak, Additional Secretary and Nodal Officer, along with Smt. Rakhi Biswas, Under Secretary. Their guidance ensured active participation from departmental officials and Safai Karamcharis, demonstrating a collaborative effort toward public hygiene and sanitation.

Addressing participants, Shri R.K. Pattanayak emphasized that cleanliness is a shared responsibility and urged officers to dedicate time to maintaining their surroundings.
