SSC Invites Applications for MTS and Havaldar Posts

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced fresh recruitment for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havaldar posts. These roles are available in multiple ministries, departments, and government offices across India.

SSC issued the notification on July 7, 2025, and the application window is now open. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website, ssc.gov.in, before July 24, 2025 (11 PM).

The minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum age is generally 25 or 27 years, depending on the post and category.

1. Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS):
These are support roles in central government offices. Job duties may include:

  • Physical maintenance of records

2. Havaldar (CBIC & CBN):
These posts involve more field and enforcement work under the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and the Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN). Duties include:

  • Carrying files and assisting seniors
