ISwachhta Puraskar 2024 Awarded to Various Departments at Visakhapatnam Steel Plantn a special ceremony held today at the ED(Works) main conference hall of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), Sri U Sridhar, CGM (Works) I/c, presented the prestigious ‘Swachhta Puraskar 2024’ to multiple departments of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. These awards recognize their dedicated efforts in executing sustainable ‘Swachh Bharat’ initiatives from 16th September 2023 to 15th September 2024.
Departments like Blast Furnace, Coke Ovens & Coal Chemicals Plant, Light & Medium Merchant Mill, Raw Material Handling Plant, Steel Melting Shop-2, Sinter Plant, Wire Rod Mill-2, Electro Technical Laboratory, Engineering Shops & Foundry, Field Machinery Department, Instrumentation, Scrap & Salvage Department, Traffic Department, Medical Department, and Town Administration were among those honored. Representatives and coordinators from these departments attended the event to accept the awards.
