Textiles Ministry Launches Swachhta Hi Seva 2025 Campaign

RR Team, September 19, 2025September 19, 2025
The Ministry of Textiles has officially launched the Swachhta Hi Seva (SHS) 2025 Campaign, a nationwide initiative aimed at promoting cleanliness, hygiene, and civic responsibility. The campaign, observed across all organizations under the Ministry, runs from 17th September to 2nd October 2025, highlighting community participation and collective action.

‘Swachhotsav’ Theme Inspires Community Engagement

This year’s campaign embraces the theme ‘Swachhotsav’, celebrating cleanliness as a festival of collective effort. The initiative focuses on hygiene awareness, environmental conservation, and civic responsibility. Cleanliness drives are being organized in office premises, educational institutions, and public areas, with active participation from employees, students, civil society groups, and local communities.

Activities Under the Campaign

To mark the commencement of SHS 2025, several activities have been carried out:

  • AS&FA (Textiles) administered the Swachhta pledge to Ministry officials at Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi, promoting cleanliness as part of daily life.
  • Swachhta pledges were also administered across all organizations under the Ministry.
  • Informative standees highlighting the campaign were installed at prominent locations within office premises.
  • Banner of Swachhta Hi Seva uploaded on official websites and dashboards of all affiliated organizations.
  • Selfie points created in offices to engage employees and visitors in campaign activities.

Social Media Outreach

To maximize engagement, updates on the campaign activities are being widely shared across social media platforms. The Ministry aims to create a ripple effect, encouraging citizens to adopt cleanliness practices and participate in local initiatives, reinforcing the culture of hygiene and sustainable civic habits.

The Swachhta Hi Seva 2025 campaign reflects the Ministry of Textiles’ commitment to a cleaner, healthier environment, fostering a sense of responsibility among employees and communities nationwide.
