
High-Level Participation

The conference will open with an exhibition and souvenir release by Speaker Om Birla. Dignitaries addressing the inaugural session include Governor of Andhra Pradesh Shri S. Abdul Nazeer, Chief Minister Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha Shri Harivansh, Chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee on Empowerment of Women Smt. D. Purandeswari, Speaker of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Shri C. Ayyannapatrudu, and Chairman of the Legislative Council Shri Koyye Moshenu Raju.
More than 100 delegates representing Parliament and state legislatures will participate, alongside ministers and members of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and Council. The conference underscores a growing national consensus to integrate women into India’s rapidly evolving technological landscape.
Theme and Agenda
With the core theme “Empowering Women to Face Challenges of Emerging Technologies,” the conference agenda includes two sub-themes: “Gender Responsive Budgeting” and “Women Led Development for Viksit Bharat.” Discussions will highlight India’s digital transformation, focusing on artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, robotics, quantum computing, biotechnology, and cybersecurity.
Deliberations will emphasize bridging the gender digital divide, promoting women’s presence in STEM fields, and ensuring safety in digital spaces. Leaders will also examine ways to strengthen women’s participation in entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology-driven economies to support India’s vision of becoming a Developed Bharat by 2047.
Closing and Future Outlook
The valedictory session on 15 September will feature addresses by Governor Abdul Nazeer, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh, Parliamentary Committee Chairperson D. Purandeswari, and Assembly Speaker C. Ayyannapatrudu. The Deputy Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly will deliver the vote of thanks.
