The update portal will remain active from February 27, 2026 to March 13, 2026 (6:00 PM). During this period, candidates must confirm educational qualification status and upload proof of passing the requisite examination. Failure to comply will result in cancellation of candidature.
Additionally, candidates must update details such as correspondence and permanent address, higher educational qualifications, employment experience, service allocation from previous IFoS examinations, marital status, parental details and cadre preferences, wherever applicable.
Cadre Preference and Allotment Rules
As per examination rules, candidates will be required to indicate their order of preference for various State Cadres, including their home state. Cadre allotment will be governed by the policy in force at the time of allocation.
UPSC has made it clear that once submitted, cadre preferences cannot be changed. Any request for modification of details outside the prescribed online window will not be entertained.
Important Advisory for Candidates
All shortlisted candidates must log in to the Online Application Form (OAF) portal, even if no changes are required, and submit the verified details to generate their e-Summon Letter. A unique reference number will be issued upon successful submission.
No requests for change in interview date and time will ordinarily be entertained. Candidates are advised to regularly check the Commission’s website for updates.
The Commission also informed that the marksheets of all candidates will be uploaded within 15 days after declaration of the final result and will remain available online for 30 days.
