Veer Bal Diwas & Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2025 to Inspire Nation

New Delhi, December 25: The Ministry of Women and Child Development will observe Veer Bal Diwas at the national level on December 26, 2025, alongside the conferment of the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP). The twin events will celebrate the courage, sacrifice, and achievements of India’s young heroes, reaffirming the nation’s commitment to empowering children as responsible citizens of Viksit Bharat@2047.

President to Honour Young Achievers

President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, will confer the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar during a special ceremony at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, at 10:00 AM. This year, 20 children from 18 States and Union Territories have been selected for their outstanding contributions in diverse fields including Bravery, Art & Culture, Environment, Social Service, Science & Technology, and Sports.

The PMRBP is regarded as one of the highest national honours for children, recognizing exceptional excellence and inspiring others to follow their example. The awardees represent the spirit of innovation, resilience, and service that defines India’s youth.

Veer Bal Diwas 2025: A National Celebration

The national-level programme of Veer Bal Diwas will be held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from 12:30 PM onwards. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will grace the occasion and address the gathering, highlighting the role of young citizens in nation-building. His speech is expected to inspire children and youth to embrace values of courage, sacrifice, and responsibility.

Union Minister for Women and Child Development, Smt. Annpurna Devi, will deliver the welcome address. The event will witness participation from school children, PMRBP awardees, and dignitaries from across the country.

Cultural Performances and Nationwide Telecast

The programme will feature cultural performances showcasing India’s civilisational heritage and the spirit of bravery. These performances aim to instill pride and inspire the younger generation to uphold the values of resilience and selfless service.

To ensure nationwide participation, the event will be telecast live on NIC Webcast, DD News, and the Ministry of Women and Child Development’s official YouTube channel. Citizens across India will be able to witness the celebrations and join in commemorating the courage of India’s young heroes.
