VP Releases Modi’s Speeches: Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas Series

RR Team, September 23, 2025September 22, 2025
The Vice-President of India, Shri CP Radhakrishnan, released two volumes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speeches titled ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas’, covering the fourth and fifth years of his second term. The event, held in New Delhi, was organized by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting and marked the Vice-President’s first public function after assuming office.
Addressing the audience, the Vice-President highlighted that these volumes offer insight into the Prime Minister’s contributions, vision, and nation-building ethos. He described PM Modi as “a living inspiration for millions, whose determination demonstrates how the impossible can be made possible.”

Contents and Significance

The books feature a total of 158 speeches and 21 Mann Ki Baat addresses from 2022-24, divided into 11 thematic sections each. They reflect PM Modi’s clarity of thought, forward-looking vision, and commitment to inclusive governance. The Vice-President congratulated the Publications Division for their meticulous selection and presentation of the speeches.

Message of Determination and Public Welfare

Quoting Swami Vivekananda, “Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached,” the Vice-President noted that every speech conveys persistence, public welfare, and determination. He emphasized that the speeches showcase the Prime Minister’s focus on ensuring government schemes reach every citizen.

Cultural Revival and Youth Empowerment

The volumes underscore PM Modi’s initiatives to revive India’s cultural identity through programs like Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, Kashi Tamil Sangamam, Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas, and the renaming of Rajpath as Kartavya Path. Youth-oriented initiatives such as Startup India, Fit India, Khelo India, Skill India, and Rozgar Melas were highlighted as foundational pillars toward achieving a developed India by 2047.

Global Engagement and Local Transformation

The Vice-President lauded PM Modi’s leadership in India’s G20 Presidency, noting the historic inclusion of the African Union as a permanent member, reflecting the ethos of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the world as one family. Locally, programs like Vocal for Local, Atmanirbhar Bharat, and PM-Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana demonstrate India’s commitment to Sustainable Development Goals and improving citizens’ lives.

Transforming Lives Through Governance

The Vice-President highlighted that schemes such as Jan Dhan Yojana, Aadhaar-Mobile linkage, DBT, PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Lakhpati Didi, PM-KISAN, Mudra Yojana, and PM SVANidhi have lifted over 25 crore people out of extreme poverty. PM Modi draws upon India’s civilisational ethos of Dharma, Kartavya bodh, and Seva bhav, demonstrating that nation-building is rooted in character and unity.

Economic Growth and Viksit Bharat Vision

From being one of the “Fragile Five” economies a decade ago, India has emerged as the fourth-largest economy under PM Modi’s leadership, with prospects of becoming the third-largest soon. The Vice-President emphasized that this growth reflects national discipline, self-reliance, and the principle of Rashtra Pratham (Nation First), inspiring citizens to contribute toward a Viksit Bharat by 2047.

Attendees included Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Shri Harivansh, Shri Amit Khare, Shri Sanjay Jaju, Justice Ranjana Prakash Desai, Members of Parliament, Vice Chancellors of leading universities, and eminent journalists.
