Upcoming Webinar Schedule
January 2026 will see two webinars: on 15th January, Academy Award-winning producer Guneet Monga will lead a film-focused session titled Taking India to the International Market. This will be followed on 22nd January by a music-sector webinar on Intellectual Property Rights Protection in the Digital Music World, conducted by Gaurav Dagaonkar, founder of Hoopr, an AI-powered music licensing platform.
February & March Sessions
In February, WAVES Bazaar will host webinars across film, gaming, animation, and platform enablement. Topics will cover screenplay development, global game publisher expectations, packaging Indian mythology for global audiences, animation design, and using the WAVES Bazaar portal effectively.
March sessions will highlight monetisation in the gaming ecosystem, funding strategies in a tightening investment climate, music royalties, digital distribution on platforms like YouTube, and the resurgence of PC gaming in India. The year-round series ensures ongoing engagement and capacity building across creative sectors.
Supporting Creative Entrepreneurship
Launched on 27th January 2025 at the National Media Centre by Union Ministers Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw and Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, WAVES Bazaar serves as a hub for television, gaming, advertising, XR, and allied fields. Since its inception, the platform has registered over 5,000 buyers and sellers, with 1,900 active projects across multiple verticals. Participants completing the webinars will receive Certificates of Participation, further bolstering professional development.
