Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president Y. S. Sharmila on Friday (November 22) launched a scathing attack on her brother, former Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, accusing him of “handing over Andhra Pradesh to Gautam Adani like a blank cheque.”
“He has turned Andhra Pradesh into Adani Pradesh,” she declared during a press conference in Hyderabad. Sharmila further alleged that Jagan Mohan Reddy had pledged the interests of the people of Andhra Pradesh in exchange for a bribe of ₹1,750 crore.
“Jagan’s corruption has reached a global level, bringing shame to the YSR family and to the state,” she said, condemning the alleged actions of the former Chief Minister.
The APCC president also noted that the ongoing corruption controversy had now reached international discussions, adding, “This is an insult to our nation.”
