India Gears Up for International Day of Yoga 2025

India is buzzing with excitement as it counts down to the 11th International Day of Yoga (IDY) on 21st June 2025. Across the country, communities are coming together to celebrate under the banner of Yoga Maha Kumbh 2025. These events are spreading joy and awareness through yoga, wellness, and community bonding.


Grand Opening in Delhi

The celebrations began on 18 June 2025 at the Heartfulness Meditation Centre, RK Puram, in New Delhi. This three-day event is organized by Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) and the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY). The Heartfulness Institute is also playing a key role.

Yoga Reaches the High Himalayas

On the same day, Arham Dhyan Yog launched its own Yoga Maha Kumbh in Sector 50, Noida. The focus is on youth and families. Activities include:
