Yogi Adityanath Engages with RSS Affiliates, Assures Action on Concerns

RR Team, April 3, 2025April 3, 2025

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath engaged in an extensive discussion with representatives from 31 Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)-affiliated organizations during the BJP-RSS coordination committee meeting in Ghaziabad. The meeting, which takes place every few months, serves as a platform for resolving concerns and strengthening coordination between the RSS, the BJP, and the Uttar Pradesh government. However, the chief minister’s presence this time added to its significance, as nearly 250 representatives voiced their concerns over various issues.

Among the matters raised, the most pressing was the lack of adequate response from government officials to BJP and RSS workers. Many attendees expressed frustration, stating that despite their grassroots efforts, their concerns often went unheard by the administration. Yogi Adityanath, in response, assured them that their issues would be addressed through coordinated efforts, reinforcing the government’s commitment to the party and its allied organizations.

Representatives from groups such as the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal spoke about their ongoing initiatives, particularly those aimed at social service and fostering Hindu awareness. The Hindu Jagran Manch raised specific concerns about religious conversions, urging the chief minister to take stringent measures against fraudulent practices. Yogi Adityanath, known for his firm stance on such issues, listened patiently and reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to preventing unlawful conversions and protecting religious integrity.

Beyond addressing grievances, the meeting also served as a space to discuss future initiatives. A key highlight was the reflection on the successful execution of the Mahakumbh, an event that has gained international recognition. The chief minister emphasized the importance of such large-scale gatherings in preserving cultural heritage and fostering community unity.

Additionally, discussions included preparations for the RSS’s upcoming 100th anniversary celebrations during Dussehra, which hold deep historical and ideological significance for the organization. A resolution passed at the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha in Bengaluru was read out, reiterating the RSS’s commitment to building a harmonious Hindu society and addressing concerns over the persecution of Hindus and other minorities abroad.

While the meeting largely focused on ideological and organizational matters, it also highlighted the need for smoother coordination between the government and its supporting organizations. As political dynamics continue to evolve, such discussions remain crucial in ensuring that grassroots workers and leaders remain aligned in their goals and efforts. Yogi Adityanath’s active participation and assurances indicate a willingness to bridge gaps and reinforce the BJP’s relationship with its ideological parent organization.

As the session concluded, many attendees expressed optimism that their concerns had been acknowledged and that concrete steps would follow. However, the real challenge lies in translating these discussions into actionable solutions that satisfy all stakeholders involved. The coming months will determine how effectively these assurances materialize into tangible policy changes and administrative responsiveness.
