Yogi Adityanath to Inaugurate Microsoft Campus and Key Infrastructure Projects in Noida

RR Team, March 7, 2025March 7, 2025

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to visit Noida on March 8 to lay the foundation stone for several key projects, including a major Microsoft campus in Sector 145. This initiative marks a significant step in Noida’s growing reputation as a global technology hub. Officials have been working diligently to ensure that preparations for the high-profile event are completed smoothly.

The Microsoft campus, planned on a five-acre plot, is expected to further enhance Noida’s prominence in the IT sector, bringing in investment and employment opportunities. Alongside this, Adityanath will also inaugurate IT firm MAQ’s new building in Sector 132 and the Sify campus, which is also spread over five acres. These developments reflect Noida’s emergence as a preferred destination for multinational companies looking to expand their presence in India.

In addition to boosting the tech infrastructure, the Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone for crucial public projects. Two underpasses are planned for the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, aimed at easing traffic congestion and improving connectivity. Another key highlight of the visit is the inauguration of the ₹228 crore Ganga Water Project, which promises to bring high-quality drinking water to residential sectors along the expressway. The project, with a capacity of 37.5 cusecs, will significantly enhance water availability, addressing a longstanding demand of the city’s residents. Officials confirmed that the Noida Authority is actively working towards ensuring that all residential sectors receive Ganga water supply by the end of 2024.

Adityanath’s visit may also bring some relief to farmers whose lands were acquired for Noida’s development. Farmers have been voicing concerns about compensation and rehabilitation, and the Chief Minister has instructed the Noida Authority to address their grievances promptly. A private agency has been engaged to conduct surveys in affected villages, ensuring that issues related to residential land settlements are resolved efficiently. The state government is also reviewing data from these surveys to facilitate fair resolutions for the farming community.

The visit will also include a significant cultural moment as Adityanath is scheduled to unveil a statue of Maharana Pratap in Dadri, Greater Noida. This gesture underscores the government’s recognition of historical figures who have played a vital role in India’s heritage.

With a focus on infrastructure, technology, and public welfare, the Chief Minister’s visit signals a major push for Noida’s development, reinforcing its status as a modern urban center that balances progress with community needs.
