Yuva Sangam Phase VI Registration Opens Nationwide

The Ministry of Education has officially launched online registrations for Yuva Sangam Phase VI under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative. This flagship youth exchange programme aims to strengthen cultural bonds and promote mutual understanding among young citizens across India.

Eligible participants aged 18–30 years, including students from Higher Education Institutions, NSS/NYKS volunteers, and young professionals, can apply online via the official portals: ebsb.aicte-india.org and ekbharat.gov.in.

Programme Overview

Yuva Sangam promotes the spirit of “Unity in Diversity” through structured educational and cultural exposure visits between paired States and Union Territories. The programme encourages experiential learning and fosters national integration among youth.

During Phase VI, 22 Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) have been designated as nodal centres for managing the youth exchanges. Selected participants will undertake five- to seven-day educational and cultural tours to their paired States/UTs, excluding travel days.

  • Paryatan (Tourism): Exposure to local cultural and natural heritage.
  • Parampara (Traditions & Culture): Understanding regional customs and practices.
  • Pragati (Development & Governance): Insights into state development initiatives and governance.
  • Paraspar Sampark (People-to-People Connect): Building friendships and interpersonal networks across states.
  • Prodyogiki (Technology & Innovation): Learning about technological and educational advancements in host states.

  • Delhi – IIT Delhi with Chhattisgarh – IIT Bhilai

  • Punjab – IIT Ropar with Bihar – IIT Patna
  • Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh – IIM Jammu with Kerala & Lakshadweep – IIM Kozhikode
  • Meghalaya – IIM Shillong with Telangana – NIT Warangal
  • Madhya Pradesh – IIT Indore with Jharkhand – IIT Dhanbad

The Yuva Sangam programme aligns with the objectives of the National Education Policy 2020 by encouraging youth to experience diverse cultures, governance models, technological innovation, and grassroots development first-hand.

Since its launch, Yuva Sangam has witnessed active participation from thousands of students and young professionals, reflecting India’s growing emphasis on youth engagement, national integration, and experiential learning.
