Massive Grievance Redressal
Out of 1,087 long-pending pension grievances taken up during the Adalat, 815 were resolved on the spot. These grievances spanned 30 Departments and Ministries, including Defence, Home Affairs, Finance, Posts, Housing & Urban Affairs, and Civil Aviation. The initiative demonstrated the efficiency of bringing multiple stakeholders together on one platform to deliver timely justice to pensioners.

Launching the Adalat, Ms. Rachna Shah lauded the mechanism for its effectiveness in expediting grievance redressal. She emphasized that the Pension Adalat has reinforced the government’s commitment to pensioners, recognizing them as active contributors to society. Several cases involving Super Senior Pensioners and Family Pensioners were successfully resolved during the Adalat. These stories highlighted the challenges faced by pensioners and the importance of coordinated intervention by departments such as CGDA, MoD, PCDA(P) Prayagraj, Pr CCA MHA, CC(P), and CAPFs. The resolutions brought relief to pensioners who had been awaiting their rightful dues for years.
