In a significant milestone for over 42 lakh students and their families, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially declared the results for Class 10 and Class 12 examinations for the year 2025. This year, the Class 10 pass percentage stood at an impressive 93.66%, marking a slight increase from the previous year’s 93.60%. Class 12 results recorded a commendable pass rate of 88.39%. Over 1.4 lakh Class 10 students have been placed in the compartment category, reflecting the need for continued academic support and reform. CBSE has introduced new post-result guidelines aimed at transparency and fairness—students can now access their answer sheet photocopies before applying for revaluation, helping them make informed decisions.
Both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan extended heartfelt congratulations to students, acknowledging not just their efforts but also the unwavering support of parents, teachers, and school communities.
