Largest-Ever DLC Campaign
The previous campaign in November 2024, conducted across 845 cities, recorded 1.62 crore DLC submissions. Building on this success, Campaign 4.0 is expected to achieve 2 crore submissions, marking it the largest effort to streamline pension verification digitally.
Collaborative Approach
The campaign will be implemented in collaboration with Pension Disbursing Banks, India Post Payments Bank (IPPB), Pensioners’ Welfare Associations, CGDA, DoT, Railways, DoP, EPFO, UIDAI, and MeitY. IPPB alone will organize camps at 1,600 district and sub-divisional post offices, leveraging its network of 1.8 lakh postmen and Gramin Dak Sewaks, including doorstep DLC services.
Nineteen banks will host camps in 315 cities across 900+ locations, while 57 Pension Welfare Associations will actively mobilize pensioners. Key ministries and departments will also conduct camps at identified locations nationwide.
State-wise & Bank-wise Coverage
Uttar Pradesh tops the list with 170 cities, followed by Madhya Pradesh (127) and Bihar (114). Prominent banks involved include State Bank of India (82 cities), Punjab National Bank (31), and Bank of India (27). Other states and banks will ensure extensive outreach to cover pensioners in remote areas.
Government’s Vision
Shri V. Srinivas, Secretary, DoPPW, reviewed preparations and emphasized the campaign’s role in digital empowerment of pensioners and simplification of the annual life certificate submission process. By adopting a saturation model and leveraging technology, the government seeks to make pension verification seamless and accessible to all citizens.
