Heralding RamRajya in Bharat

“Highlights from the 117th Episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ – PM Modi’s Address on 29th December 2024”

RR Team, December 29, 2024December 29, 2024

My dear countrymen, Namaskar.
The year 2025 is just around the corner, knocking on our doors. January 26, 2025, will mark a momentous occasion as our Constitution completes 75 glorious years—a matter of immense pride for all of us. Our Constitution, crafted by visionary minds, has stood the test of time and continues to be our guiding light. It is because of this Constitution that I am able to connect with you today.

This year, starting from Constitution Day on November 26, various activities have been initiated to celebrate this milestone throughout the year. A special website, constitution75.com, has been created to involve citizens in this celebration. Through this platform, you can read the Preamble, upload videos, explore the Constitution in multiple languages, and ask questions related to it. I urge students and youth to actively engage with this initiative.

The Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj
Next month, starting January 13, the Maha Kumbh will be held in Prayagraj. Massive preparations are underway at the sacred Sangam. A few days ago, I had the privilege of viewing the expansive Kumbh area from a helicopter during my visit to Prayagraj. The sheer scale and grandeur of the preparations were awe-inspiring.

The Maha Kumbh is not just an event of vast proportions; it embodies the spirit of unity in diversity. Millions of devotees, saints, and representatives of various traditions and sects gather here, transcending barriers of caste, creed, and status. The Maha Kumbh is truly a symbol of national unity.

This year, the digital Maha Kumbh will enhance the experience for all. With AI-powered tools and navigation systems, visitors can access information in 11 Indian languages, find their way to ghats, temples, and akharas, and even use a digital lost-and-found service. I encourage everyone attending the Kumbh to share their experiences with the hashtag #EktaKaMahakumbh.

Children’s Favorite KTB Series
Let’s talk about KTB—Krish, Trish, and Baltiboy, the beloved animation series for children. Its second season, Bharat Hain Hum, narrates inspiring stories of unsung heroes of India’s freedom struggle. Broadcast in multiple Indian and foreign languages, the series is available on Doordarshan and OTT platforms. This creative initiative reflects the vast potential of India’s animation and entertainment industry.

Celebrating Icons of Indian Cinema
The year 2024 marks the 100th birth anniversaries of cinema legends like Raj Kapoor, Mohammed Rafi, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, and Tapan Sinha. Their contributions have left an indelible mark on Indian and global cinema. I also want to share an exciting development: India will host the first-ever World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES) next year, a global platform to showcase our creative talents.

Cultural Heritage Across the Globe
Indian culture continues to resonate worldwide. Recently, 23,000 Egyptian students participated in a painting competition celebrating Indian culture. In Paraguay, Ayurveda consultations at the Indian Embassy are gaining popularity. Tamil, the world’s oldest language, is now being taught in Fiji for the first time in 80 years, reflecting the global admiration for our linguistic heritage.

Sports and Fitness Movements
From skiing in Kashmir to kite-flying in Gujarat, fitness initiatives are thriving. The Bastar Olympics in Chhattisgarh, with over 165,000 participants, is fostering sportsmanship in a region once plagued by conflict.

Healthcare Milestones
India has achieved significant progress in health, with an 80% reduction in malaria cases since 2015. The Ayushman Bharat scheme has ensured timely cancer treatment for 90% of patients, transforming healthcare accessibility for millions.

Agricultural Innovations in Kalahandi
In Odisha’s Kalahandi, a ‘vegetable revolution’ led by a Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) has transformed the lives of over 200 farmers, including women. This initiative exemplifies how collective efforts can drive sustainable growth.

A Bright Future for India
As 2025 approaches, let us continue to strive for unity, innovation, and excellence. Share your inspiring stories and ideas with #MannKiBaat, and together, let us contribute to India’s progress. My best wishes for a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year.

Stay fit, stay positive, and keep moving forward!
