India’s Healthcare Reforms & Global Recognition
Shri Nadda noted that India’s healthcare sector is gaining increasing global credibility, as evidenced by the strong participation of international delegates. Medical value travel, according to the Minister, reflects India’s clinical excellence, internationally benchmarked standards, transparent governance, and patient-centric approach. He emphasised that India’s skilled medical professionals, modern infrastructure, and advanced digital integration have strengthened specialty care across cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics, neurosciences, and organ transplantation.

The Union Health Minister highlighted the government’s ongoing initiatives to enhance inter-ministerial and regulatory coordination, including partnerships with accreditation agencies and State Governments. He stated that medical travel serves both as an economic opportunity and a channel for international cooperation, fostering people-to-people trust and collaboration.
