India to Chair 12th BRICS Parliamentary Forum; Strong Stand Against Terrorism
Brasilia/New Delhi, 6 June 2025 – India will host the 12th BRICS Parliamentary Forum after actively participating in the 11th edition held in Brasilia, Brazil, from 4 to 5 June 2025. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla led the Indian delegation, which played a pivotal role throughout the discussions.
Forum Condemns Pahalgam Terror Attack
In a firm show of solidarity, all 10 BRICS nations condemned the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India. The joint declaration issued after the forum expressed unanimous support for a zero-tolerance policy against terrorism.
