PM Modi: ‘Their Courage Strengthens Every Indian’
Remembering the martyrs, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said their devotion and resolve continue to inspire the nation. In a message posted on social media, he stated that the sacrifice of the brave personnel remains etched in the country’s collective consciousness.
The Prime Minister emphasized that every Indian draws strength from the enduring courage displayed by the jawans who laid down their lives in the line of duty on February 14, 2019.

Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan also paid tribute, noting that the supreme sacrifice of the CRPF personnel will forever remain in the nation’s memory. He said their bravery continues to inspire efforts toward building a secure and resilient India.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah described terrorism as the “greatest enemy of humanity” and reaffirmed India’s unwavering commitment to eliminate it. He said the nation remains indebted to the courage and dedication of security forces who confront terror threats.
Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor’s Tribute
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha paid homage to the martyrs, calling their sacrifice an enduring symbol of patriotism and duty. He said their unwavering commitment and selfless service to the motherland will continue to inspire generations.
The attack, which took place in the Lethpora area of Pulwama district, saw a suicide bomber ram an explosives-laden vehicle into a convoy bus carrying Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel. The explosion killed 40 jawans and shook the entire nation.

Manipur Chief Minister Y Khemchand Singh said the sacrifices made by the jawans will never be forgotten. He expressed solidarity with the families of the martyrs and reaffirmed the country’s collective resolve to safeguard its unity and sovereignty.
