Mos for Coal and Mines Reviews CMPDI’s Performance, Urges Focus on Innovation and Sustainability
Minister of State for Coal and Mines, Shri Satish Chandra Dubey, chaired a performance review meeting of the Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited (CMPDI) today in Ranchi. The session was attended by CMPDI CMD Shri Manoj Kumar, Directors Shri Shankar Nagachari and Shri Ajay Kumar, along with General Managers, Heads of Departments, and other senior officials.
The meeting covered CMPDI’s operational achievements in areas such as exploration, report preparation, capital expenditure, R&D, solar initiatives, and CSR activities for 2024–25, as well as goals set for 2025–26.
Commending CMPDI’s efforts, the Minister stressed the need for adopting advanced technologies in coal washing, enhancing exploration of critical minerals, and expanding the use of solar energy across Coal India Limited (CIL).
