Union Minister for Culture and Tourism, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, will inaugurate the initiative at the historic Sreerangam Temple in Trichy. The event will feature cultural troupes from across Tamil Nadu performing traditional recitals of the Kamba Ramayana, showcasing the rich oral traditions that have been an integral part of Tamil culture for centuries. A major highlight of the initiative is the week-long Kamba Ramayana Festival at Kambar Medu, the birthplace of Kambar in Theraazhundur.
