Mumbai is set to host a major conference on cruise tourism, ‘Waterways to Wonder: Unlocking Cruise Tourism’, on August 18. Organised by the Mumbai Port Trust in collaboration with the Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) and the Indian Ports Association (IPA), the event will bring together policymakers, industry experts, and tourism stakeholders to explore India’s growing potential in cruise tourism.

Focus on Policy and Sustainable Growth

Looking Ahead to India Maritime Week 2025

The half-day conference will conclude with a preview of India Maritime Week 2025, scheduled for October. IMW 2025 aims to showcase India’s advancements in the maritime sector and foster international cooperation to position the country as a leader in cruise and coastal tourism.
